Dwell Yoga offers private Pilates Reformer Sessions, taught by Paula Stanton, STOTT certified instructor and RYT-500.
Pilates is a low-impact workout that uses a variety of exercises that focus on core stabilization and help tone the entire body. The Pilates Reformer is a bed-like machine that uses a tension system to create resistance in order to achieve proper alignment and strength building.
The Pilates Reformer is a great workout and can be modified to any body. The machine and the exercises can be adjusted to help individuals who want to tone and build strength; rehab from an injury; or those in need of a low impact activity to support healthy skeletal system.
Paula works with individuals of all ages – teenagers to seniors – and all fitness levels. Because Pilates Reformer work is low-impact and focuses on core strength and proper alignment, she sees clients who are seeking improved athletic performance, relief from back pain and scoliosis, weight loss and overall improved health.
Traditional sessions are 55 minutes in length; and new mini sessions are just 20 minutes. Each customized to the clients’ goals, health history and fitness levels.
